Enmore Theatre

The Enmore Theatre is located in the Newtown Entertainment Precinct, Sydney's unique heartland of live performance, music cinemas, restaurant, bars, cafes and hotels. Historic King St and Enmore Rd play host to this vibrant nightlife.

The Enmore Theatre is classified by the National Trust and is listed in the Historic Buildings Register of the Australian Institute of Architects and is one of two surviving art deco theatres in Sydney and the only one in its full original condition.

How To Get There:

By train the closest station is Newtown which is about a 15 minute ride from Central station. The Enmore Theatre is within easy walking distance about 5 minutes. The following bus services stop outside the theatre: 423, 426 and 428 via Circular Quay and Central station leaving you directly in front of the Theatre. 422 and 370 from (Coogee to Leichhardt) both stop at Newtown Railway Station King St.

Parking is limited around the theatre although if you arrive early you may be able to find some. Take public transport and enjoy the night. Taxis are plentiful for the end of the evening.

For wheelchair bookings please call th Box Office on (02) 9550 3666 and speak to the Box Office Manager. The Enmore Theatre is in the middle of Newtown surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants. Air conditioned and public toilets on site.

The Box Office operating hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday and Public Holidays. The Box Office is open 2 hours prior to performance time, for patrons wishing to collect or purchase tickets.
